Yeoju Youth Training Center celebrates first anniversary

The Yeoju Youth Training Center held a successful event to commemorate its first anniversary. The celebration featured various programs designed to help young people discover their interests and talents through hands-on experiences.

Approximately 3,600 people attended the event, which included 20 different experience booths managed by youth committees and local organizations. Participants engaged with future technologies such as drones, robotics, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), autonomous driving, and media. The event also featured a digital exhibition of Dokdo provided by the Gyeonggi Future Generation Foundation.

A second e-sports competition was held, featuring titles such as League of Legends, Valorant, Roblox, and Brawl Stars. The Roblox segment included a special family category to encourage participation across generations. Yeoju Mayor Lee Chung-woo emphasized the importance of creating environments where youth can develop their dreams and grow as active members of the community.
