Yeoncheon County has announced a series of autumn events scheduled for October. The 5th Yeoncheon Dangposeong Starlight Festival will take place from October 2 to 3 at Dongi-ri Dangposeong. The event will feature traditional performances, magic shows, a stargazing program using telescopes, and various hands-on activities such as making wooden crafts and AI experiences. Local food and regional specialties will also be available for visitors.

Additionally, the 2026 Village Community Achievement Sharing Session will be held on October 9 at Eundae Neighborhood Park. This event involves 20 organizations, including 15 village communities and five social enterprises, to share their annual activities. The program includes a flea market, fashion shows, and band performances. To encourage local economic circulation, a payment system will be established to allow the use of rural basic income for flea market purchases and experiences.
