Yeongcheon to host integrated joint festival in October

Yeongcheon City has announced the ‘2026 Yeongcheon Joint Festival,’ an integrated event scheduled to take place from October 2 to 4 at the Yeongcheon Riverside Park. The festival merges four major local celebrations into a single venue: the 52nd Yeongcheon Culture and Arts Festival, the 24th Yeongcheon Hanbang (Oriental Medicine) Festival, the 14th Yeongcheon Wine Festa, and the Starry Hanwoo BBQ Festival.

Key highlights include the 30th National Wangpyeongga Singing Contest, which will feature 12 finalists, and various traditional medicine experiences such as K-Medi health zones and medicinal food tastings. The event also focuses on local specialties, offering wine tastings and discounts on regional wines, alongside outdoor dining experiences featuring Yeongcheon Hanwoo beef with discounts ranging from 10% to 30%.

Mayor Kim Byeong-sam stated that the festival is designed to allow visitors to enjoy the city's diverse culture, tourism, and local products in one location, creating special autumn memories for families and friends.
