Yeongdeungpo-gu to host 2027 high school admissions fair

Yeongdeungpo-gu will hold the ‘2027 Academic Year High School Admissions Fair’ on the 31st at 10:00 AM in the Yeongdeungpo Art Hall exhibition room. The event is designed to assist middle school students and parents in navigating high school applications and selecting institutions that align with their aptitudes and career paths, particularly in response to the full implementation of the high school credit system.

The fair will feature a special lecture by Heo Cheol, director of the University Admissions Information Center and senior researcher at Jinhaksa, who will explain complex admission systems and career design strategies. Additionally, current teachers from nine local high schools—including Gwanak, Daeyeong, Seonyu, Yeouido, Yeouido Girls, Yeongdeungpo Girls, Yeongsin, Janghun, and Hangang Media—will provide one-on-one consultations regarding school atmospheres, club activities, specialized curricula, and academic performance.

Participation is free, and attendees can pre-register via QR code or the Yeongdeungpo-gu University Admissions Information Center website. The district also offers ongoing 1:1 admissions consulting based on student records and plans to host a college entrance strategy briefing in December.
