Yeongjong-gu Head discusses regional issues with LH

Son Hwa-jeong, the head of Yeongjong-gu in Incheon, met with officials from the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) to discuss regional development issues and strengthen cooperation.

Key topics of discussion included the automatic clean-net system in Yeongjong Sky City, the unification of ownership and management rights for Songsan Park, and the implementation of noise reduction measures for apartment complexes. Due to the complex administrative structure of the region—which involves the Incheon International Airport, free economic zones, and housing development districts—Son emphasized the need for a coordinated approach between agencies.

To address these challenges, Son proposed the formation of a ‘Yeongjong-gu Policy Consultative Body.’ This group aims to reduce administrative gaps and leverage the infrastructure and resources of LH and other relevant agencies for regional development. The district plans to invite various agencies to join the body by September, with the goal of officially launching the consultative group within the year.
