Yeongju City outlines 2027 administrative direction

Yeongju City has initiated its first business report for the upcoming term of the 9th popularly elected local government. The reporting process, scheduled from August 24 to 31, aims to define the city's administrative direction and core tasks for 2027.

The initiative focuses on assessing the progress of current major projects and identifying key tasks for 2027. The city intends to prioritize policies that directly impact the daily lives of citizens, moving away from purely administrative perspectives to ensure high levels of public satisfaction. Mayor Hwang Byeong-jik emphasized that the administration's ultimate goal must be the citizens, stating that officials should focus on what residents need and desire rather than pursuing projects based on administrative habit.
