Yeonsu-gu District Head Lee Jae-ho announces 100-day pledges

Yeonsu-gu District Head Lee Jae-ho marked his 100th day in office by announcing approximately 90 pledges across six key sectors for his term. The initiatives focus on balanced development between the old city center and Songdo International City, covering areas such as transportation, welfare, and infrastructure.

Key projects include the construction of new administrative welfare centers, the development of the KTX Songdo Station, and the acceleration of the GTX-B line. Lee also emphasized the use of artificial intelligence for sinkhole prevention systems. He stated that he intends to establish and disclose a detailed implementation plan by December to ensure transparency.

Additionally, Lee expressed strong opposition to the proposed relocation of the Overseas Koreans Agency to Sejong. He characterized the move as an irresponsible administrative decision that undermines policy consistency and threatens the growth drivers of Yeonsu-gu. He called on Incheon Mayor Park Chan-dae to officially demand the withdrawal of the relocation plan.
