Various regions and organizations in South Korea are conducting the 2026 Ulchi Exercise, a national emergency preparedness drill designed to enhance response capabilities for wartime or national crises.

In Incheon, the Incheon Metropolitan City Council's Education Committee inspected the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education's training sites, focusing on maintaining educational functions and ensuring student safety during emergencies. Additionally, Incheon Technopark conducted civil defense and fire evacuation drills across 12 business sites, involving approximately 200 employees in air raid and emergency response simulations.

Other regional activities include Seohae-gu, where approximately 800 personnel from 15 agencies participated in drills covering drone attacks on critical facilities and air raid evacuations. In Busan, Buk-gu conducted a specialized drill at Geumgok Station, simulating a terrorist bombing and fire to test the coordination between civil, government, military, and police forces.
