Yeonsu-gu receives ministerial commendation for mental health services

Yeonsu-gu in Incheon has been recognized as an outstanding institution in the ‘2026 Community Mental Health Center Evaluation’ hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The Yeonsu-gu Addiction Management Integrated Support Center received a commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare for its achievements in early detection of addiction risk groups, customized counseling, and systematic rehabilitation programs.

The district plans to strengthen its integrated addiction rehabilitation services by linking counseling, treatment, rehabilitation, and social reintegration. This includes building a community rehabilitation network with facilities such as the Yeonsu Saenuri Mental Rehabilitation Facility. The district aims to move beyond one-time treatments to support long-term independence and stable community settlement for those with addiction disorders.
