Yeonsu-gu to launch integrated data platform on September 1
Yeonsu-gu, located in Incheon, will officially launch its integrated data platform on September 1. This marks the first time a local district-level municipality in the Incheon area has implemented such a platform to consolidate administrative and lifestyle information.
The platform integrates scattered data from various departments and agencies to improve resident access to information and support data-driven decision-making for local administration. It features six main menus, including real-time city status, lifestyle maps, sectoral indicators, public data, data maps, and related platforms. Users can view information regarding safety, welfare, transportation, education, and the economy through maps and graphs.
Prior to the launch, the district conducted a survey of 2,607 residents and analyzed population and civil complaint trends. The analysis revealed regional differences in policy needs: Songdo residents showed higher demand for transportation-related policies, while the older urban center showed higher demand for cultural services. Yeonsu-gu plans to use these findings for budget allocation and new project development.
