Yeosu City and KOVO partner for 2026 professional volleyball tournament

Yeosu City and the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) have signed an agreement to host the 2026 Yeosu·NH Nonghyup Cup Professional Volleyball Tournament. This marks the second consecutive year the city will host the event, aiming to expand the local volleyball base and boost sports tourism.

Under the agreement, Yeosu City will provide administrative support, including the use of Jinnam Gymnasium and promotional activities to attract spectators. KOVO will manage tournament operations, including match progression, team support, and overall promotion.

The tournament serves as a critical preseason period for V-League clubs to test new rosters and tactics. The women's division is scheduled to take place from October 11 to 18, followed by the men's division from October 19 to 25 at Jinnam Gymnasium.
