Yeosu World Island Expo launches nighttime wish boat experience

The 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo Organizing Committee is introducing various nighttime programs to enhance the visitor experience during the Chuseok holiday season. A central feature is the ‘Wish Boat’ experience, where visitors can write messages of hope or encouragement and float them on LED boats along the Island Theme Zone waterways. This program runs daily from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM until November 4.

To encourage longer stays, the expo site offers several other evening activities, including the ‘Romantic Autumn Night Theater’ featuring films projected onto a media facade, ‘Romantic Autumn Night Picnics,’ and live busking performances. Additionally, a K-POP concert featuring artists such as QWER, ONEWE, and Cherry Filter is scheduled for the first day of the Chuseok holiday.

Special evening tickets are available for entry between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and day ticket holders can re-enter the site until 8:30 PM with a validation stamp. The organizing committee aims to promote Yeosu as a destination for extended autumn travel by linking expo visits with local island tours and existing tourism products.
