YETI to launch first Power Cooler in 2027

YETI is expanding its product lineup with the introduction of a Power Cooler, scheduled for release in 2027. This move marks a shift from the company’s traditional focus on passive thermal insulation toward active, powered cooling technology, such as portable fridge/freezer units.

During an Investor Day presentation, Head of Product Hannah Mara noted that the Power Cooler represents an innovation for the entire category. CFO Scott Bomar highlighted that the company has utilized acquisitions, including those in the powered cooler and cookware sectors, to quickly gain technical expertise and intellectual property.

In addition to technological shifts, the brand is launching the Riverhead Collection for autumn. This seasonal update features coastal-inspired colors and herringbone patterns across various food and drinkware essentials, including insulated cups, lunch bags, and waterproof accessories.
