Yeungnam University transfers agrivoltaic solar technology to Sun Team Tech

Yeungnam University has signed a technology transfer agreement with Sun Team Tech for an agrivoltaic solar power system equipped with modular foundation structures. The agreement, valued at 150 million KRW, includes 120 million KRW for the transfer of registered patents and 30 million KRW for related technical know-how.

The technology was developed by Professor Jae-hak Jeong of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Yeungnam University. Through this partnership, the university aims to transition laboratory-based original technologies into industrial applications, while Sun Team Tech intends to advance the technology and commercialize it to meet market demands. The two organizations plan to pursue continuous technical exchange and joint research to enhance competitiveness in the eco-friendly energy industry.
