Yeungnam Yi Gong College is dispatching 15 students to Australia, the United States, and New Zealand as part of its 2026 Global Field Training Program for junior colleges. The initiative aims to enhance students' major-specific competencies and international perspectives.

The cohort includes 13 nursing students, one student from the tourism services department, and one from the smart e-automobile department.

In Australia, 10 students will participate in training at James Cook University in Brisbane until December 5. In the United States, four nursing students will attend La Roche University and Witt University through mid-December. Additionally, one nursing student will undergo training at the ICL Education Group in Auckland, New Zealand.

President Lee Jae-yong held a meeting with the participants prior to their departure, noting that the program provides an opportunity for students to discover their potential and expand their career horizons through diverse educational environments.
