Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai trailer reveals Nivin Pauly plays 8,822-year-old character

The release trailer for the upcoming Tamil film ‘Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai’, directed by Ram, has been released ahead of its October 1, 2026, theatrical debut. The film stars Nivin Pauly, Soori, and Anjali.

In the trailer, Nivin Pauly’s character is revealed to be 8,822 years old. The footage suggests a blend of humor and drama, featuring a sequence where Pauly’s character questions Soori about his whereabouts in the year 1.

Actor Nivin Pauly recently attributed the box office success of the film ‘Mandaadi’ to the long-term dedication and physical sacrifices made by co-star Soori. Pauly noted that Soori maintained a rigorous training regimen even during late-night shoots to prepare for his roles. ‘Mandaadi’ recently became Soori’s first film to gross over 100 crore at the global box office as a lead actor.
