YG Entertainment to debut new boy and girl groups

YG Entertainment Chief Producer Yang Hyun Suk has announced plans to debut two new groups: a five-member boy group and a four-member girl group. The new artists are intended to join TREASURE and BABYMONSTER as key figures in shaping the agency’s future. Both new groups are expected to record demo tracks by the end of the year, with specific debut timelines to be determined once title tracks are finalized.

In addition to the new group announcements, Yang provided updates on existing artists. BABYMONSTER is scheduled to release a digital single titled ‘DESERVE’ on October 23, described as a slower-paced track with intense energy. TREASURE will release a hip-hop-driven digital single titled ‘SHOCK’ on November 2, marking a significant shift in their musical direction as they enter a new phase of activity.
