YGEIA receives INTERACT-EUROPE Gold Badge for oncology care

YGEIA has been awarded the INTERACT-EUROPE Gold Badge by the European Cancer Organisation (ECO) following the successful completion of the INTERACT-EUROPE 100 program. The initiative, implemented between September 2025 and March 2026, focused on enhancing oncology care through improved patient safety, multidisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered care.

A multidisciplinary team of 14 professionals from YGEIA participated in the program. This included five trainers who completed a ‘Train-the-Trainer’ curriculum and nine participants from various oncology fields. The program involved workshops and practical actions conducted both online and in person across Greece, Spain, and Bulgaria. By observing clinical workflows and fostering communication between specialties, the program aimed to strengthen teamwork and ensure high standards of safe, quality cancer care.
