Yilan City God Temple to host first-ever blood donation event

The Yilan City God Temple, which has a history of over 200 years, will host its first blood donation event on October 26. The event, titled ‘Love Stands Together, Protecting Lanyang Together,’ is scheduled to take place from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Organized by the Yilan City God Temple and co-hosted by the Lanyi Ducheng City God Cultural and Educational Promotion Association and the Yilan City God Temple Young Master Association, the initiative aims to replenish blood banks to meet high medical demands. To encourage participation, organizers are offering gift vouchers: 700 TWD for 500cc donations and 400 TWD for 250cc donations, along with other limited gifts.

Organizers highlighted the health benefits of donation, such as improved metabolism and reduced cardiovascular risks, as well as the critical role blood plays in emergency surgeries and life-saving medical procedures.
