Yilan County receives Ministry of Education award for community college excellence

The Yilan County Government has received the Excellence Award from the Ministry of Education under the ‘115 Fiscal Year Local Government Community College Business Incentive Program’. This recognition highlights the county's long-term commitment to lifelong learning and community education.

Under the county's jurisdiction, Luodong Community College was awarded the Special Excellence Award, while Yilan Community College received the Excellence Award. These honors were presented during the National Community College Development Conference held on August 11.

A key initiative mentioned is the ‘Deepening the Writing of Yilan Female Landscapes Publication Project’. This project expands on the ‘Yilan Female Road’ research, transforming brief introductions into in-depth narratives for 30 female landscape sites. The results will be published in a book titled ‘Yilan Female Road 1’, serving as educational material for gender studies and local history.
