Yilan County to host One Day in Yilan cultural market

The Yilan County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau will host the “One Day in Yilan” cultural themed market at the Zhongxing Cultural and Creative Park from October 31 to November 1. The event aims to connect local cultural resources by featuring five major cultural bases from Yilan.

The two day market will include 20 free hands-on experience sessions and 25 brands related to culture, crafts, environment, food, and agriculture. Activities are designed to introduce visitors to puppet arts, traditional markets, clog craftsmanship, rice farming culture, and historical space revitalization.

On October 31, a sharing session titled “How Cultural Bases Become Local Connection Platforms” will take place. This session will feature representatives from the five Yilan bases and Wang Yu-ping from the Hualien Island of Light Cultural and Arts Foundation to discuss cultural preservation, community participation, and local management.
