Yilan hosts labor walking event at Longtan Lake

The Yilan County Government and the New Taipei City Environmental Protection Bureau co-hosted a labor walking event at the Longtan Lake Scenic Area in Jiaoxi Township. The event, titled ‘115th Year Labor Walking - Health UP’, aimed to promote work-life balance and physical health among approximately 1,000 workers.

To encourage family participation, the event included a children's play area and various performances. In addition to fitness activities, the New Taipei City Environmental Protection Bureau integrated legal and integrity education into the program. Through interactive game stations, participants learned about anti-corruption, fraud prevention, personal data protection, and consumer rights.

Acting County Magistrate Lin Mao-sheng emphasized the importance of workers balancing professional duties with health and family life. The event also featured lucky draws with prizes such as televisions and bicycles to enhance the participant experience.
