Yildirim Municipality Wraps Up Bursa Thought School Youth Program
The Yildirim district municipality in Bursa completed its "Bursa Thought School" programme, a 20‑week educational initiative aimed at enhancing the academic and intellectual development of young residents. Forty‑two students finished the curriculum, received certificates in a ceremony at the Alev Alatlı City Thought and Art Center, and presented their projects at a student symposium. The programme was delivered in partnership with Bursa Uludağ University, and Mayor Oktay Yılmaz attended both events, stating that the municipality views youth as “the owners of the future and the strongest voice today.”
Organisers highlighted the opportunity for participants to work with university scholars and develop multidisciplinary skills, emphasizing the municipality’s broader commitment to cultural and educational facilities such as libraries, cultural centers, and sports halls.
The ceremony marked the final stage of the project, which aimed to nurture a generation of well‑rounded, socially responsible young people in Yildirim.
