Yıldırım Kaya calls for democratic reforms and regional development

CHP Deputy Chairman Yıldırım Kaya addressed several national issues during a press conference in Çanakkale as part of the CHP Party School Executive Training. Kaya emphasized that strengthening the Republic with democracy is essential to preventing a single-man regime and ensuring peace, prosperity, and social welfare.

Regarding regional development, Kaya highlighted the need for an international airport in Çanakkale to support its cultural and historical heritage, including Assos, Gallipoli, Bozcaada, and Gökçeada. He also raised concerns about the environmental degradation of the Kaz Mountains, stating that the area is being exploited for gold mining despite its status as a vital natural resource.

On the subject of education, Kaya noted increasing parental anxiety regarding school safety. He proposed increasing the number of guidance counselors, suggesting a ratio of one counselor for every 50 students to address security concerns and support students.
