Yıldırım Municipality supports youth with mock exams and sports facilities
Yıldırım Municipality has implemented several initiatives to support local youth through educational and athletic investments. The municipality organized mock Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS) sessions in its libraries to help students prepare for civil service careers. These exams, conducted in two separate sessions for undergraduate and associate degree levels, saw a total of 1,516 applicants. Mayor Oktay Yılmaz emphasized that the municipality aims to assist young people in managing exam stress and identifying academic weaknesses.
In addition to educational support, the municipality is expanding its sports infrastructure. Recent developments include the opening of the Naim Süleymanoğlu Sports Complex, the establishment of the Yıldırım Youth and Sports Center, and the renovation of several existing facilities such as the Mimar Sinan Sports Facility.
