Yıldırım Municipality to establish Emir Sultan Museum in Bursa
Yıldırım Municipality in Bursa has initiated the development of the Emir Sultan Museum to preserve the region's historical and cultural heritage. The project aims to create a cultural center that includes a library and seminar halls.
A preliminary protocol has been signed for the donation of ethnographic artifacts by Mehmet Fındıkkaya. The museum is expected to house significant items, including 500-year-old relics believed to belong to Emir Sultan, historical Turkish flags and banners, weapons from the National Struggle period, and personal items used by former governors of Bursa.
Yıldırım Mayor Oktay Yılmaz stated that the museum, planned to be named after Hacı Aysel and Şerif Fındıkkaya, will serve as a vital resource for researchers, students, and history enthusiasts while strengthening the connection between the city's past and future.
