Yle to host open house in Pasila to celebrate centenary

To celebrate its centenary, the Finnish public broadcaster Yle will host a unique open house event in Pasila, Helsinki. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 to 16:00.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the broadcaster's operations, meet program creators and personalities, and go behind the scenes. The Pasila Studio House will feature 'Yle Katu', where various brands and programs such as Yle Uutiset, Yle Urheilu, and Yle Radio Suomi will be represented.

The program includes presentations on news and sports journalism, as well as tours of costume and prop departments. In the Ison Paja auditorium, guests can preview upcoming autumn series, including the figure skating drama 'Fokus', the black metal-themed series 'Belzebubs', and the final season of 'Räjähdysherkkä'. While the event is free, capacity at the Pasila facilities will be limited at any given time.
