Yên Sở Bus Station Near Completion After 120 Billion VND Investment
After more than a year of construction, the Yên Sở bus station – Hanoi’s seventh inter‑provincial terminal – is approaching final completion ahead of its planned opening. The project, approved in 2016 and launched in early 2025, involves an investment of nearly 120 billion VND on a 27,577 m² site along Ring Road 3.
The modern design includes three above‑ground floors and one underground level, with a total floor area exceeding 14,500 m². A circular administration building features a glass façade and a newly installed roof, while interior works such as internal roads, parking areas and landscaping are being finished. The station is designed to handle 800–1,000 bus trips per day, aiming to relieve pressure on existing terminals, especially the Giáp Bát bus station.
When fully operational, Yên Sở is expected to accommodate a portion of inter‑provincial traffic and improve passenger services in the southern gateway of the capital.
