Yngwie Malmsteen Announces November Release of 'Hell Or High Water' Album and New Single

Swedish guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen has announced that his next studio album, *Hell Or High Water*, will be released on 13 November through Music Theories Recordings/Artone Label Group. The first single from the album, “Now Or Never,” was unveiled in early August and is described by the artist as a blend of heavy riffs, classical fire and melodic intensity.

Malmsteen revealed that the album’s nine tracks were written over an eight‑month period spent at home, allowing him to select the strongest material from a pool of 80‑90 recorded ideas. In addition to the release, he disclosed a series of Spanish tour dates: 25 September at Sala Slamandra in Barcelona, 26 September in Albacete, 2 October at Acerock in Mérida, and 24 October at Sala Supra in Sevilla. The announcement follows his recent live recording “Tokyo Live” from 25 April 2025.

The new material and tour schedule mark the latest phase of Malmsteen’s career, continuing his pattern of intensive writing, recording, and touring cycles.
