Yngwie Malmsteen releases video for ‘Beyond Zeta Reticuli’

Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen has released the official music video for ‘Beyond Zeta Reticuli’, the second single from his upcoming studio album, ‘Hell Or High Water’. The album is scheduled for release on November 13 via Music Theories Recordings and Artone Label Group.

Inspired by Malmsteen’s interest in extraterrestrial life, the instrumental track ‘Beyond Zeta Reticuli’ draws its name from a binary star system located approximately 39.3 light-years from Earth. The musician described the composition as a blend of heavy themes, strong melodies, and intricate counterpoints, characterizing it as ‘pure neoclassical fire.’

The nine-track album was recorded using a focused creative process developed during the pandemic, where Malmsteen spent eight months writing without external distractions. This method allowed him to select the strongest material from a pool of approximately 80 to 90 written tracks.
