Yngwie Malmsteen to release new album Hell Or High Water in November

Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen is set to release his new studio album, ‘Hell Or High Water’, on November 13 via Music Theories Recordings and Artone Label Group. The release follows a creative process where the musician spent eight months writing uninterrupted at home to avoid modern distractions.

Malmsteen has released a music video for the new single, ‘Beyond Zeta Reticuli’, an instrumental track inspired by his fascination with alien life. The song is described as combining heavy themes, strong melodies, and intricate counterpoint within a neoclassical style.

In addition to the new single, the upcoming album features the track ‘Now Or Never’ and ‘(He Is) Living A Lie’. Malmsteen, who has also performed vocals for his band for the past 14 years, noted that his vocal performance on this record is firmer than in previous works.
