Yo Oizumi to guest on Ichiro Yamaguchi’s radio program

Actor Yo Oizumi is scheduled to appear as a guest on the radio program ‘Sakanaction Ichiro Yamaguchi’s All Night Nippon’ on August 25. The live broadcast, airing from 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM on Nippon Broadcasting System, serves as a special week event.

Both Yamaguchi, the musician from the band Sakanaction, and Oizumi are from Hokkaido and have worked in their respective fields for many years. Despite their professional respect, the two have jokingly described each other as ‘arch-rivals,’ with Oizumi previously labeling Yamaguchi a ‘sly man’ and Yamaguchi referring to Oizumi as a ‘senior I dislike.’

The broadcast is expected to cover topics including music, acting, and shared memories from their Hokkaido roots. Yamaguchi has expressed his determination to hold his own during the appearance, stating, ‘I will not lose to Mr. Oizumi.’
