Yo Oizumi to host celebrity bowling special on Nippon TV

Actor Yo Oizumi will host the Nippon TV special “Star Clash! Oizumi Bowling,” scheduled to broadcast on October 4 at 7:00 PM. The program features a massive bowling stadium set where 26 celebrities, divided into 13 pairs, will compete for the title of the entertainment industry’s number one pair.

Oizumi will lead a team alongside Hokuto Matsumura of SixTONES. The competition includes various formats such as “Machine Gun Bowling,” a time-attack style game, and “Carryover Bowling,” where pins are carried over to subsequent lanes. The tournament will progress through quarterfinals and semifinals, featuring diverse participants including athletes, comedians, and actors.

Other notable participants include Saori Yoshida, various members of comedy duos, and actors such as Tomoya Takahashi. The program also serves as a promotional collaboration for the drama “Ore-tachi no Hakone Ekiden.”
