YOAKE announces new educational model for Zero Ko High School
YOAKE has announced a new operational structure and educational vision for Zero Ko High School (Zero Ko), a support school for correspondence high schools. Partnering with Kashimayamakita High School, the program aims to help students obtain high school diplomas while gaining practical skills to achieve economic independence.
The curriculum focuses on practical applications of generative AI, AI video production, and social media management. Students will participate in internships and real-world projects to prepare for diverse paths including higher education, employment, or entrepreneurship. To address financial barriers, the school plans to introduce a tuition refund system based on a student's income earned during their studies.
The initiative is supported by the ‘Horie-Mizoguchi Zero Fund,’ with Takafumi Horie and Yuji Mizoguchi planning to contribute a total of 200 million yen. Additionally, the school has established an advisory board featuring prominent figures from various industries, including former executives from Nike Japan, Microsoft Japan, and LINE.
