YOASOBI begins Asia dome and stadium tour in Osaka

Japanese music duo YOASOBI has launched their massive Asia tour, titled ‘Chouwakusei’ (Super Planet), with an opening performance at Kyocera Dome Osaka. The tour, which marks the group's eighth year of activity, is designed to visit 10 cities across Asia using dome and stadium venues.

The Osaka concert featured an evolved band sound with a twin-drum setup and included the debut of the unreleased track ‘KILLA’. The performance also featured a band arrangement of ‘Sakihokore’, the theme song for the NHK morning drama ‘Blossom’.

Prior to the tour launch, vocalist ikura (Rira Ikuta) drew public attention by performing a rare street live set in Sapporo. This return to her musical roots occurred ahead of the group's scheduled performances at the Yamato House Premist Dome in Sapporo this November.
