Yoga instructor organizes relief classes for Nepal tsunami victims

Following a devastating tsunami in the mountainous regions of Nepal and Tibet that has resulted in over 1,300 deaths and 5,000 missing persons, yoga instructor Lauranne Valette is organizing solidarity sessions in Saint-Lô, France.

Scheduled for September 15 and 16, 2026, the four sessions will operate on a pay-what-you-can basis with a minimum contribution of 15 euros. All proceeds will be donated to the association Les Enfants de Ram, founded by Ramchandra Dras.

The funds are intended to support the Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir in Kathmandu, which provides housing, food, and education for orphans affected by the disaster.
