Yogesh Jain appointed Deputy CEO of India's AU Small Finance Bank

AU Small Finance Bank, India's largest small‑finance bank and the first in more than a decade to receive in‑principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for a transition to a universal bank, announced the promotion of Yogesh Jain to Deputy Chief Executive Officer. The appointment takes effect on July 25, 2026 and follows board approval.

Jain, a chartered accountant with over 20 years of experience, has been with the bank for more than 16 years, previously serving as Chief Operating Officer. He has overseen capital mobilisation, treasury, technology modernisation, digital banking, and other critical functions that have driven the bank’s transformation from an NBFC to a technology‑led financial institution. In his new role he will work closely with founder and MD & CEO Sanjay Agarwal to continue the bank’s growth agenda and digital strategy.
