Yogi Adityanath highlights improved law and order in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the state's 'double engine' government has suppressed criminal elements and mafias that previously created an atmosphere of fear and chaos before 2017. Marking the occasion of Sharad Navratri, the Chief Minister highlighted the government's zero-tolerance policy toward crime as a foundation for establishing justice and peace.

Adityanath noted significant improvements in women's safety through initiatives such as Mission Shakti, the Integrated 1090 helpline, and the Safe City project. He reported that police response times have decreased from 65 minutes in 2016 to just 5 minutes.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister emphasized the economic impact of increased female participation in the workforce, which has risen from 12 percent to over 36 percent. He credited this growth in female labor participation to the state's improved security environment, contributing to a threefold increase in Uttar Pradesh's GSDP and per capita income.
