Yogi Adityanath launches Rs 435 crore in projects in Deoria and Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched and inaugurated development projects worth over Rs 435 crore across the Deoria and Gorakhpur districts. In Deoria, the projects include 80 initiatives valued at Rs 305 crore, while Gorakhpur saw the dedication of 170 projects totaling more than Rs 130 crore.

During his address in Deoria, the Chief Minister criticized the Samajwadi Party and Congress, alleging that previous administrations failed to provide security, development, and employment. He specifically accused the Samajwadi Party of mismanaging state funds regarding the JPNIC project and claimed that past governments neglected public health, citing the encephalitis crisis in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

On the topic of social welfare, Adityanath highlighted the safety and empowerment of women in the state. He also referenced the ‘Lokmata Ahilyabai Matrushakti Yatra’ scheme, which provides free bus travel for women aged 60 and above.
