Yogi Adityanath orders railway security upgrade and launches ₹294 crore projects in Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed a modernisation of the state’s railway security system, urging the use of advanced technology, enhanced surveillance, and faster response mechanisms to protect passengers, especially women, on one of India’s busiest rail networks.
On World Environment Day, the chief minister inaugurated a suite of development initiatives worth ₹294 crore in Balrampur district, covering roads, bridges, irrigation, rural infrastructure and welfare schemes. The launch also featured a tree‑planting drive and briefings on local wildlife conservation, highlighting the state’s focus on both economic growth and environmental protection.
