Yogi Adityanath to inaugurate 3.09 crore Kalyan Mandapam in Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to inaugurate a new Kalyan Mandapam in Gorakhpur, constructed at a cost of approximately 3.09 crore rupees. Built by the Gorakhpur Development Authority using the Chief Minister's विधायक निधि (MLA fund), the facility is located in Jungle Nakha Number 2.

The two-story building spans 2,461 square meters and has a capacity to accommodate 300 people. It is designed to provide subsidized facilities for social and auspicious events, such as weddings and cultural programs, specifically catering to low and middle-income groups as an affordable alternative to expensive marriage halls. The facility includes a large hall, kitchen, store, office, changing rooms, separate restrooms for men and women, a lawn with a fountain, and interlocking tile parking.

This marks the eighth Kalyan Mandapam to be inaugurated in the region under this initiative. Previous locations include Khorabar, Surajkund, Manbela, Raptinagar Vistar, and several other areas. Additionally, the Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate a charitable blood center at the IMA in the Taramandal area.
