Yogurette-inspired fashion trends and strawberry chip safety concerns

A new fashion trend for autumn 2026 is emerging, inspired by the Yogurette chocolate bar. The trend features sneakers that mimic the iconic packaging colors, specifically combining chocolate brown with a vibrant rose pink to reflect the bar's creamy, strawberry-filled interior.

In food safety news, Öko-Test conducted a study on 21 varieties of freeze-dried strawberry chips, including 14 organic options. The results were largely disappointing, with no product receiving a ‘very good’ rating and eight products failing with ‘poor’ or ‘insufficient’ grades.

Significant concerns were raised regarding pesticide residues, which were found in over half of the tested products, including organic brands. Specifically, Koro freeze-dried strawberry slices from China were rated ‘poor’ after testing revealed 34 different pesticide traces. While individual amounts were not considered acutely toxic, the presence of multiple residues led to lower ratings due to long-term health uncertainties.
