Yogyakarta Airport Rail Service Expands Schedule with New Early and Late Trains
The Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) rail link has resumed full operation, offering trains from early morning until late night. Regular services run at set intervals throughout the day, while the Xpress line provides nonstop trips between Stasiun Tugu and the airport in about 35‑40 minutes.
Fares start at Rp10,000 for a one‑way regular ride (Rp20,000 round‑trip) and Rp50,000 for the Xpress service. Tickets can be purchased via the KA Bandara mobile app, the Acces by KAI portal, or vending machines at stations. The expanded timetable is intended to improve connectivity for tourists, business travelers, and local residents, reducing reliance on road traffic that often faces congestion.
