Yogyakarta Airport Train releases July 2026 departure schedules

Indonesia’s PT Kereta Api Indonesia announced the timetables for its Yogyakarta Airport Rail (KA Bandara YIA) for early July 2026. On Thursday, 2 July, the service will run regular trains between YIA and Tugu Station with departures from 05:16 WIB to 20:55 WIB in both directions, plus stops at Wates. On Saturday, 4 July, the same regular schedule is offered alongside an Xpress option that skips intermediate stops and departs at intervals such as 06:00, 07:40 and 09:05 WIB from YIA to Tugu, and 07:00, 08:40 and 10:20 WIB in the opposite direction.

Fares start at Rp 10 000 for a single‑journey regular ticket and Rp 40 000 for Xpress, with round‑trip prices roughly double. Tickets can be bought via the KA Bandara mobile app, the Acces by KAI platform, the Railink website, or vending machines at stations. The service, praised for avoiding road congestion, aims to give passengers a reliable 35‑40‑minute link between the airport and Yogyakarta’s city centre, supporting tourism and daily commuting in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
