Yogyakarta Airport Train schedule announced for June 14, 2026

PT Kereta Api Indonesia released the full timetable for the Yogyakarta Airport Train (KA Bandara YIA) on Sunday, 14 June 2026. Trains run frequently from early morning to late night between Stasiun Tugu in Yogyakarta city and Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA), with additional stops at Stasiun Wates serving Kulonprogo residents. The regular service offers travel times of about 35‑40 minutes, while the non‑stop Xpress option connects Tugu directly to YIA in the same interval and is priced at Rp 50,000 per passenger.

The expanded schedule is intended to provide flexible departure options for passengers aligning with flight times, reduce reliance on road transport prone to congestion, and support the region’s tourism and business mobility. Modern train amenities, air‑conditioning and scenic views of the Yogyakarta‑Kulonprogo countryside are highlighted as part of the city’s broader public‑transport integration efforts.
