Yogyakarta Customs supervises PT HM Sampoerna Tbk excise goods destruction

Customs officials in Yogyakarta supervised the destruction of excise goods belonging to PT HM Sampoerna Tbk from August 12 to 14, 2026. The process involved physically damaging the goods to ensure they could not be reused or repurposed for their original function.

Riri Riani, Head of the Information Services and Counseling Section at Yogyakarta Customs, stated that the supervision aimed to ensure the process was orderly, transparent, and accountable. The measure is intended to prevent the unauthorized circulation of goods designated for destruction and to maintain administrative order within the excise sector.
