Yogyakarta hosts Otentik Fun Rally 2026 for city anniversary
The Otentik Fun Rally 2026 was held in Yogyakarta on Saturday, October 24, 2026, as part of the city’s 270th anniversary celebrations. The event featured 60 motorcycle participants and 50 classic or custom car units.
According to Yogyakarta City Regional Secretary Budi Santoso Asrori, the rally focuses on navigation, timing, and teamwork rather than speed. The event aims to combine automotive hobbies with tourism, education, and social activities, including a social service initiative at UPT Budi Dharma.
Lucia Daning Krisnawati, Head of the Yogyakarta City Tourism Office, noted that participants arrived from various regions, including Kalimantan and Sulawesi. To boost local regional income (PAD), participants from outside the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) were required to stay in local hotels.
