Indonesia expands mobile driving‑license renewal services nationwide
Police units across several Indonesian provinces are operating mobile driving‑license (SIM) renewal services in July 2026. In Yogyakarta, the Simon Palace team runs a morning window at Alun‑Alun Kidul and a Saturday night service at Sasono Hinggil. Gunungkidul Police adds village‑level stops and a Saturday night “Saturday Night Service.” Jakarta’s Metro Jaya police deploys five city‑wide locations, from Mall Grand Cakung to the Pos Banteng parking area. Bandung’s Satpas runs two mobile units at ITC Kebon Kelapa and Summarecon. All venues handle only renewals of active SIM A and SIM C; new or expired licences must be processed at regular Satpas offices. Required documents include the e‑KTP, the current SIM, a health certificate and a psychological test result. The fee remains Rp80,000 for SIM A and C (Rp30,000 for SIM D), exclusive of health and insurance costs. Limited daily quotas mean users are advised to arrive early.
