Yogyakarta Police Launch Mobile Driver’s License Renewal Service

The Regional Police of Yogyakarta (Polda DIY) resumed its mobile driver’s license (SIM) renewal program on 11 June 2026, offering on‑site extensions for active SIM A and SIM C holders without the need to visit a Satpas office. In Gunungkidul Regency, the service operated at several village halls and market locations from 9 am to the end of the day, while in the broader Yogyakarta area the mobile unit set up at Qhomemart on Ring Road Timur and rotated through other municipal offices throughout the week.

Applicants must bring the required documents – original e‑KTP, the current SIM, photocopies, a valid medical certificate and a psychological clearance – to ensure quick processing and reduce queue times. New SIM issuance or renewals for expired licences still require a direct visit to the local Satpas office.
