Yogyakarta Province Expands Mobile Driver's License Renewal Service to Gunungkidul and Jogja

The police traffic units in Gunungkidul and Yogyakarta (Jogja) have reopened their mobile driver’s license (SIM) renewal programs. In Gunungkidul, the service operates on 30 June 2026 at designated village halls and market venues, offering on‑site renewal of active SIM A and C licences. In Yogyakarta, the mobile unit runs on 29 June 2026 at Alun‑Alun Kidul, with additional weekend evening hours and a drive‑through option at the public service hall. Both initiatives aim to make licence renewal more convenient for residents in outlying areas and to ease queues at the main traffic police offices. Applicants must present identification, the current SIM, and medical or psychological certificates.
